2024 Scholarship Recipients

Luke Howard

Luke will be attending Benedictine College in the fall to study economics and theology. His end goal is to become a firefighter. During his time at AHS, he was a competitive powerlifter, coed cheerleader, as well as a four-year member of AHS Choirs, and a three-year member of the Teen Republicans club. In addition, he participated at his church Mary Queen of Peace each weekend being an altar server as well as helping to teach a confirmation class after mass.

Elise Echerd

Elise Echerd will be majoring in Genetics at Purdue University. While at Avon High School Elise was a member of the National Honor Society and Varsity Avon Gold Dance Team. Elise has been an active volunteer at Sheltering Wings and a member of their Teens That Talk Youth Council. Elise has been involved in competitive dance for 16 years where she also volunteers with the studio’s community give back program, Infinity Gives.
